Our school group programme is available in the spring and autumn and is designed for groups of 30 students or more, plus teachers.
It provides a short immersion into the English language and culture and can be organised to the specific needs of the group.
As teachers we know that on a school trip, much learning happens outside the classroom: in the homestay, on cultural visits, in shops, even on the bus as students adapt to new surroundings and test their language skills in authentic situations. For many students this may be their first time in a British speaking environment and this experience forms a fundamental part of their language learning as they develop long lasting memories linked to their awareness of cultural differences and form an attachment to British culture and way of life.
To enhance this language learning experience we have identified some ‘themes’ based around Jersey or British culture, linking the lessons to the activities where possible. You can either select one of these themes below or we can create a programme for you based on the needs of the class. Complete your programme by selecting from a range of activities, excursions & sports, many of which tie into these themes.
